Neon Abyss 2 Training Room: Weapon Tests & Limits

Veewo's January 29 update places the Agent Training Centre beyond the Black Dog Bar elevator and the weapon-testing room on its right, where already-unlocked weapons can be tested against static, moving, or multiple targets. An October 12 Switch 2 co-op recording identifies a Training Room in post-launch gameplay and discusses DPS and a weapon, confirming the facility is present in 1.0. The recording does not show how the players entered, so the elevator remains the best published route rather than a post-launch filmed walkthrough.

Version
The precise route and target options come from Veewo Games’ January 29, 2026 Glimmer Heist update. An October 12, 2026 Switch 2 gameplay recording confirms the Training Room is present after the 1.0 launch, but does not show the route into it.
Access and use
The official update says to reach the Agent Training Centre through the bar elevator; the weapon-testing room is on its right. It supports any already-unlocked weapon and testing against static, moving, or multiple targets.
Test limits
The current recording contains a player discussion of DPS and a weapon, but neither it nor the official update specifies rewards, an in-game damage meter, target health, or fixed comparison conditions.

Before you start

From the Black Dog Bar, take the elevator to the Agent Training Centre; Veewo’s January 29, 2026 update places the weapon-testing room on the Centre’s right. Choose any weapon already unlocked and test it against static, moving, or multiple targets. October 12 Switch 2 co-op footage identifies a Training Room in post-launch gameplay, confirming the room’s presence in a 1.0-era session, but it does not show the entrance or independently verify the elevator route. No source here documents an access level, training reward, damage meter, target health, or fixed comparison protocol.

Take the elevator from the Black Dog Bar

Veewo’s January 29 update says the Agent Training Centre is reached through the elevator in the Black Dog Bar. It places the weapon-testing room to the right of the Centre. An October 12, 2026 Switch 2 co-op recording later identifies a Training Room during gameplay, so the facility is present in a post-launch session; the video does not show the doorway or how the players got there. Use the elevator directions as the latest exact published route, with that limit in mind. Veewo Games’ Glimmer Heist update · Crispysense’s Switch 2 co-op recording, 3:19:36

Choose an unlocked weapon and vary the target

The official update says you can take any already-unlocked weapon into the testing room. It describes targets that are static, moving, or multiple, giving you a way to practice aim and observe how a weapon behaves against different target situations. Locked weapons are not documented as previewable or unlockable inside the room. Veewo Games’ Glimmer Heist update

Keep a practice observation separate from a run ranking

The announcement establishes a controlled practice space, but does not specify a damage meter, rewards, target health, or a fixed test protocol. For your own comparison, keep the weapon level, target type, and firing conditions the same, and note which upgrade changed; that is a practical comparison method, not a game-provided benchmark. In a run, artifacts, weapon affixes, Agent attributes, and other upgrades can change the result. For the documented attribute fields, see Neon Abyss 2 stats; for weapon identities, see the weapon reference.

What the post-launch footage confirms

At 3:19:36 in an October 12 co-op recording, a player asks whether the other player is in the Training Room, receives confirmation, and then discusses DPS and a weapon. That is useful evidence that the facility exists in a 1.0-era Switch 2 session. It is not an entrance walkthrough and does not reveal every practice-room feature.
