Neon Abyss 2 Item Sets: Membership & Synergy Conditions
Current PC-build data lists nine set bonuses. Eight held genre items normally activate a set; Ring of Regal Majesty lowers the target to six.

Lookup and field meanings
A set bonus activates when a run holds enough qualifying items of one genre. CapyDB’s extraction of PC build 2026.10.8.72af32744d5 lists nine genres, bonuses, effects and eligible members. The normal target is eight qualifying Artifacts or Relics; Ring of Regal Majesty lowers it to six while held. Pocketed items, weapons, Curios, Badges and set bonus items do not count. Veewo’s 1.0 notes separately describe changes to six named effects and set-state fixes.

What counts and when the bonus activates
The normal target is eight qualifying items held at once. Ring of Regal Majesty lowers it to six while held; it does not count while pocketed. Qualifying items are Artifacts and Relics with the relevant first genre tag. Pocketed items, weapons, Curios, Badges and set bonus items do not count. Some items in a genre’s drop pool count toward another genre because their first tag differs, so use the game’s set-progress indicator instead of guessing from an item’s theme.
Official 1.0 changes and fixes
Veewo’s 1.0 announcement describes changes to Sky Heist, Alloy Resolve, Lovely Legion, Carnival Frenzy, Tao Unfolds and Arcane Echo. It also lists fixes restoring set effects after floor changes, continuing or reconnecting, and preventing one-time rewards from being granted repeatedly. The broader nine-bonus table above comes from versioned third-party data.
