Before you start
In the 1.0 notes, PC graphics quality and frame rate are separate settings: quality has Medium/High options and frame rate has 60, 120 or uncapped choices, with VSync handled according to the display. The notes also confirm 21:9 resolutions, separate controller-vibration and screen-shake settings, and QTEs that follow custom movement bindings. Steam lists full controller support, including Xbox and PlayStation controller categories. The sources reviewed do not provide a complete default keyboard map, so check the live in-game binding screen rather than copying a list from the first Neon Abyss.
Separate graphics quality from frame rate
Veewo’s 1.0 notes say these two controls are independent on PC. The listed choices are Medium or High for graphics quality and 60, 120 or uncapped for frame rate. VSync is handled according to the display. The notes do not guarantee a particular frame rate on a particular PC; compare the available options with your own monitor and hardware.
For ultrawide displays, the update adds 21:9 resolutions including 2560×1080, 3440×1440 and 3840×1600. Those are supported examples, not a claim that every game menu or display combination has been tested here.
Controller support and vibration settings
Steam’s product metadata lists full controller support and Xbox, DualShock and DualSense controller categories. The 1.0 notes also separate controller vibration from screen shake, so you can adjust those effects independently. The notes do not publish an exhaustive controller layout; inspect the current bindings in the game before following a button-by-button guide written for another version.
QTE prompts follow custom movement bindings
The 1.0 update says QTE prompts follow the player’s custom movement keys. It also changes the menu button so it can step back one menu level at a time. If a QTE prompt feels mismatched after rebinding, compare it with the movement keys currently shown in settings rather than assuming it uses the old default.
Use the in-game binding screen for your own layout
The reviewed sources do not provide a complete official default keyboard map. A launch-period reviewer reports that their default twin-stick layout placed jump on a left trigger and that remapping felt better to them; treat that as one person’s controller experience, not a required setup. The same review says they did not find a dedicated dodge button in their build. Check your own active bindings and the action prompts in the current game.
Pickup and dismantling sounds are also described in the 1.0 notes as playing within the relevant room. This is an audio behavior change, not a control binding.
